2021 „Extraterrestrial Alphabet“ is part of the project Outer Space Transmitter. At its center is the question of whether extraterrestrial life is possible – and what communication with an unknown intelligence could fundamentally look like, without assuming a shared language, culture, or other frames of referece. For this purpose, I developed a sign system that translates visual information into a transmissible The project is based on the assumption that art can communicate without words: through pattern, rhythm, proportion, and repetition. The “language of art” thus becomes a possible interface between different life forms – not as a message with fixed content, but as an experimental model of what can be perceived under unfamiliar conditions.     |
